Jesus spoke these words to Martha to comfort her over the death of her brother Lazarus. He was telling Martha and he is telling us that death is not something that we should fear because as along as we have put our faith trust in Jesus then only our physical bodies will die, but our souls will never die. If you are looking for hope today cling to these verses. Cling to the fact that you can know and do know the one who has defeated sin and death. Cling to the fact that though your body may die your soul can never die so long as you place your faith trust in Jesus.
