When you accept God’s free gift of salvation he adopts you. This makes you a joint heir to the kingdom along with Jesus. You are no longer an outsider looking in, but you have become a member of the family of God. Remember God loves you like a parent loves their children and he wants what is best for you, and he will never force you to do anything he gives a choice because he has given you free will.
