You can find hope and encouragement in the stories told of the people in the past and the promises God has made throughout the scriptures. You, also, learn about the nature of God by reading his word. It is important that you spend time in God’s word everyday not just to check off a box to get God off your back, but so that you can find hope and encouragement, and so that you can learn about God and his plans and promises for you.
