This part of the song the angels sang when they appeared to the shepherds to announce Jesus’ birth. They gave glory to God, to whom all the glory and praise belong. They brought a message of peace to all those upon whom God looks favorable. Just as the angels gave gave glory and praise to God so should you. As we draw nearer to Christmas remember the real reason for the season. Remember that with the birth of Jesus God set his plan in motion to bring peace to the earth. It may not seem like there is much peace on earth right now, but remember that God’s plan is not yet complete and that it won’t be complete until Jesus returns for the second time. However, until that time you must continue to spread God’s message of peace on earth. Find your peace with God this Christmas and keep it year around, while passing it on to others.
