This is part of David’s prayer to God in response the promise that God have given him. We like David should always take time to remember how great and powerful our God is. We also need to remember that no matter what the circumstances are God is always in control and that he is always sovereign. You may not like your current circumstances and you may feel that your current circumstances are out of control, but remember God is always in control and he will get you through whatever circumstances you are going through if you will only trust him.
