God wants to be found. He is not hiding from you. He is waiting for you to seek him. God is gentleman he is not going to force you to do something that you don’t want to do, but he is still actively looking for you. We see a beautiful picture of this in Genesis right after Adam and Eve have eaten the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. God knew that they had disobeyed him, but yet he went looking for them anyway. “The the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?'” (Genesis 3:8-9) God is actively seeking and you cannot hide from him. He is still walking around calling you by name. He is waiting for you to answer here I am, but I have been hiding from you because I was afraid. To seek God with all your heart you must first admit your sins and failures. The second thing you have to do is willingly invite him in. It does no good to admit sins and failures and then ask for forgiveness, but never invite God into your life. God wants to be found and he is not hiding. He is simply waiting for you to began to seek him with all your heart.
