Everyone wants to see their plans succeed. The question is how do you succeed in life. The writer of Proverbs gives us the answer. He tells us to commit to God whatever you do. This doesn’t mean just the things you want to do or the things you like to do, it means everything. When you commit everything you do to God it means you do everything to the best of your ability and that you are fully committed to whatever you are doing. What does this mean? It means if mop floors then you mop floors to the best of your abilities, or if you are the leader of country then you lead with the best of your abilities. Remember this your work is an act of worship to God and by doing your best at your work you are offering God your best in worship. This is what it looks like to commit everything you do to God and is how you succeed.
