Verse of the Day 2-26-21

Our God is faithful and he is our source of strength and protection. Paul in his letter to the Ephesians tells us to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Why do we need to put on the whole armor of God? Peter tells us that devil is our enemy and that he is prowling around like a roaring lion seeking to devour us (1 Peter 5:8). Unless you are constantly seeking God’s protection and strength you will fall victim to the schemes of the devil. You can’t face the devil down alone, but you can face him down through the strength and protection that God alone can give you. Put your faith and trust in God and be prepared for the schemes of the devil.
