It is because of God’s love for you that he sent Jesus into the world to die for your sins. Since God loves you enough to send his son to die for your sins don’t you think you should find it your heart to show love towards others, especially towards your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 13, “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do have love, I gain nothing.” Love should be your driving force as a follower of Christ. It is love and your ability to love that will cause the greatest change in the world. So go out and love God with all heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.
