He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.-Matthew 28:6
These words spoken by the angel to Mary Magdalene and the other Mary still ring true today. If you go and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem today you will find the tomb empty. Today we celebrate Easter. It is the day where we celebrate and remember that death no longer has a hold us, if we chosen to accept God’s perfect and free gift of salvation. Unlike every other religion in the world, whose founders/leaders died, were buried and have stayed dead and buried, we serve a living God who has defeated death and hell. And who gives you the opportunity to walk through this life free from the chains of the fear of sin and death. “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”-John 11:25-26
