Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
We are all familiar with today’s verse. In fact most of us will quote to those who are going through hard times without ever stopping to think about what this verse is actually telling us. And here is what today’s verse is telling us: The fact that God is deeply concerned for the troubles of every one of his children is a truth emphasized throughout his Word. In a very real sense, worry is the opposite of faith. It could also be said that worry is taking responsibility for something God never meant for us to handle, or attempting to hand a situation in a way that is different from what he desires-without depending on him and following his guidance. We must continually make a decision to turn all our fears , anxieties and concerns over to God and trust his way and time in handling them.
