“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20
Jesus here is telling us that there is great spiritual authority and power when people join together in faith and prayer. That is because Christ promised that where two or three come together in faith and devotion to Christ, he is there with them. His presence will inspire faith, provide strength and give direction and comfort. We should take advantage of opportunities to join with other Christians in prayer, and we should not hesitate to ask others to pray with us over matters of concern.
