Verse of the Day 2-13-22

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

The phrase in this passage “be constant in prayer” is translated from a very strong Greek word-“proskarterountes”-which implies continuous persistence, perseverance and insistence. The Bible recognizes that most of us will struggle, not only to keep an attitude of prayer, but also to spend real time in prayer. This verse encourages us to be faithful and persistent in prayer because it is our access to God for a life of spiritual intimacy and power. It is also the means by which God advances his kingdom purposes on earth.
