He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
The Hebrew words here can also be, “Enough!” (meaning “Stop”), “Let go” or “Quit holding on” to things that may be distracting or weighing you down spiritually-things that keep you from honoring God and giving him his proper place in your life. Through God’s Word and through individual lives, we have seen enough evidence of God’s presence and power at work for his people. Therefore, we can be at peace in the fact that he has everything under control. God is all-powerful, and one day everyone who ever lives will recognize and acknowledge that fact.
