Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
The trial we will face in life typically result from outside sources beyond our control and are something to be endured with faith. In fact, trials test our faith and develop perseverance and maturity. So that by relying on God to help us through trials, we will grow spiritually, develop character and will finally receive “the crown of life.”
