Verse of the Day 7-5-22

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. Romans 15:4

The Old Testament Scriptures are of great importance to a Christian’s spiritual life. They are full of personal examples of spiritual victories and failures that can help us as we strive to follow God and avoid evil. Above all, the wisdom and moral laws of God, as well as his revelation about himself, his plan of salvation and Christ’s coming have permanent value.
