Blessed are the peacemakers,

The “peacemakers” are those who have been reconciled to God (restored to a right relationship with him). Peace with God is available to anyone accepts the sacrifice Jesus made for their sins by his death on the cross. Those who truly have peace with God will make every effort to show that peace to others-including their enemies-and to bring others into a relationship of peace with God.
