Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
Believers must be alert about competing traditions of worldly wisdom and stand firm as one body in the faith. “Faith” here refers to the content of the gospel-Christ’s death and resurrection. Love confirms our submission to the Lord’s authority and to one another.
