Verse of the Day 8-12-22

Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8

“Taste” can mean “judge” in the sense of determine for oneself. “See” most likely carries the same sense in order to reinforce the concept. In other words what the Psalmist is telling us here is that we are judge for ourselves based on the evidence that we can see whether or not God is good.
