One of the great opportunities that individuals and congregations have to praise to God is through songs that celebrate his goodness and guidance in their lives. Through songs we recall that God created us and restored our relationship with him, and we celebrate the fact that we are now his people and he is our leader. We sing about his love and faithfulness that will continue forever. Songs are a powerful expression of praise because they can engage and release our passions and emotions like few other things can.
